Made In Cuba

A couple of weeks ago I went to see this amazing dancing show by the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Company.
"Made In Cuba" was really made there. Everything reminded me of Cuba, the culture, its people, its music, its senses, and the dancing... it was spectacular. The show had all the winning tickets for a trip to Cuba without leaving the theater seat.
This was not the first, nor the second show I've had the privilege to see from this company, and once again it amazed me big time. Starting by the live music on stage, followed by the vivid colors of the costume design, the choreography, and the talent of all those young dancers... It was a talent show off from every single one of them. They guys playing the drums, that was pretty cool and unexpected.
Once more, Lizt Alfonso and her team have proven a great deal of talent on the stage, with that very particular style, a fusion of classical ballet moves, with traditional Cuban dances and music, the rumba, and that pinch of flamenco that makes the mark.
I especially loved the last scene when the girls come out on wooden flip flops and they dance to the rhythm of the music made with the flip flops on their feet and hands, it was the icing of the show, it brought me right back in time, back home, for a while I was in Havana, Cuba.
Thank you for such a great show, and the best of lucks!
